About La Parolaccia Osteria - Long Beach

La Parolaccia has been a family owned business since 2006. We are from Rome Italy and hope to bring some of our homestyle Italian cooking to you. La Parolaccia offers a relaxed and intimate atmosphere where everyone is treated like family and enjoys delicious pizza, pasta and wine. La Parolaccia in Italian means "the bad word." In Italy an osteria is a down to earth establishment where friends and family gather to enjoy great food and occasionally let out a "parolaccia." We hope our home away from home becomes a place where you form great memories around great food.

Fabulous. Great Roman food surrounded by a rich atmosphere and good service. Ordered the Paccheri Crema di Scampi pasta, Burina pizza, and bread pudding for dessert. The pasta was very flavorful with large pieces of lobster. The pizza had ample toppings with fresh arugula.

I went there with my dad and it was amazing, I went simple with a Margherita Pizza. He got a panino and it has mortadella, pesto (I think) and tomato. I pounded the whole thing in like 15 minutes and never felt full. For an appetizer I got bruschetta and it’s very good, like VERY good. Like a toast on steroids. The waiters were very nice and I just stared at the guy making the pizza the whole time until we got our food. For dessert I got a Nutella and Vanilla gelato. It’s house made and creamy goodness. Best food I’ve ever had. Just lucky this is near me! Side note: They rarely have the panini and they have some in stock occasionally (that’s what I heard)

Had a reservation for 7 at 5 pm. We ordered a couple of appetizers (calamari, margarita pizza and salad) to share and enjoyed our entree. I ordered branzino, and i enjoyed every bite of it! My friends ordered seafood linguini, meatball spaghetti, lasagna, halibut (special), and had limoncello tiramisu to share. We enjoyed our conversation while tasting delicious food! There is a small parking lot behind the restaurant, and there is a plenty of parking spots on Broadway. It’s a neighborhood restaurant so many patrons walk there.

Can you clean up my review for a local hole in the wall italian place by me. A beautiful local Italian restaurant in Long Beach. The location itself has so many fun artifacts, cars, Vespa, art from Italy which adds to the allure of the place. Great spot for a fun date night or meal with your kids. The service was top tier. Staff was so helpful, quick and super friendly. The food was phenomenal. Although, they did not have a kids menu, the Margherita pizza was a hit with our son. We started our meal with bread and oils and the Bruschetta Pomodoro a la Mozzarella. Great start. Then tried the Marione pasta which was so tasty with tender shrimp and clams. We closed the night with little Cannolli's and a scoop of chocolate Gelato for my son. Delightful! We had a great time celebrating my husband's birthday and am grateful for throughout staff to sing to him and make his night feel special. We can't wait to go back Here’s a polished version that keeps your voice but flows a little smoother and more professional: A beautiful local Italian spot in Long Beach with so much character. The space is filled with fun artifactsβ€”cars, a Vespa, and art from Italyβ€”which really adds to the cha

Found this place while searching for places to eat in Long Beach on Instagram. The first time I ate at this restaurant was last month for Valentine’s Day. I ordered a lasagna, which was hands-down one of the best lasagnas I’ve eaten and ordered a pizza. For dessert we ordered their house made bread pudding topped with gelato and that was the only thing I wasn’t too crazy about. Last weekend, I went back again to try different dishes, which are pictured here and everything once again was insanely good. Customer Service here is unmatched. This place is so welcoming and attentive to their guest. They offer outdoor seating. Bathroom situation kind of sucks because there’s only one for the entire restaurant… they have a small bar to sit at and three separate dining areas inside. You can make reservations here which I do highly recommend. Otherwise your wait time is minimal of 30 minutes on the weekend. Parking sucks but it’s Long Beach so I’m sure you’re aware of that.
